Using HM-133 Microphone

If you have a RRC-1258MkIIs you can buy the HM-133 adapter pcbs which let you use the

HM-133 microphone with all it’s buttons.

The small pcbs are mounted in the strapping sockets which means that no red straps are

needed. The pcb with the yellow cable are mounted in the Control-RRC and the pcb with the

blue cable are mounted in the Radio-RRC. The yellow and blue cables need to be solder to one

point on the RRC pcb. See pictures below. Be sure to remove power when solder. There No

settings need to be changed after mounting the pcbs.

There is one solder pad which is significantly

bigger than the other via holes to the right of

the CPU over the Crystal. That’s the one

which the cables should be soldered to.
